Rigmor Teigen Figenschau and Robert Selfors have, through 4 seasons, been inspired of the creations of the past. The result of Mother Earth's evolution, created over millions of years, has been there at our feet, and we have allowed ourselves to be touched.

As a part of the "bigger picture", our lives are only small flashes of light, when we realize how long ago these manifold treasures were shaped...

The flat landscape that today includes the Helgeland/Salten region is surrounded by shallow sea bays. We are 550 million years back in time, just south of the equator....
Tropical climate provides fertile ground for the formation of new life in the sea. Jellyfish-like organisms, primitive corals, mats of bacteria and some arthropods abound. Lime mud and silt are deposited on the seabed.
Life is rich!
430 million years back in time large parts of Northern Norway lies 15,000 meters below sea-level.
